Where are we?

Dunes on Shelly Beach is situated in the beachside town of Ballina, in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. Perched in private 2 aces of bushland
at the northern end of Shelly Beach, Dunes provides a private retreat overlooking the beautiful Angels Beach.

Getting there:
Ballina is accessible by car and plane with direct flights daily from Sydney and Melbourne into 'Ballina/Byron airport'. Ballina is located off the Pacific Hwy, 100 km south of the Gold Coast and 200 km south of Brisbane.


Around us:
Ballina is surrounded by 32 km of white sandy beaches, and is home to iconic surf breaks such as Lennox Point, Skennar's Head, Flat Rock
Angels, Speed's Reef, Shelly and North Wall. Surf on uncrowded beaches, point breaks, or swim safely on patrolled beaches.

Ballina is also at the mouth of the Richmond River- great for boating and fishing on expansive waterways.

Explore the many unique villages which surround us in the tropical hinterland for regional cuisine, arts and culture, there is so much to see in a day.

Ballina also provides a host of entertainment and attractions for the whole family including the Golf Course, Waterslide, Ten Pin Bowling and skate park....as well as great eateries, aussie pubs and Clubs.

Cycling in Ballina:
DuneS on Shelly Beach has direct access to East Ballina's scenic bike/walking path..
While taking in the spectacular ocean views this path takes you all the way into Ballina via beachside cafe's, pubs, restaurants, children's playgrounds, museum, library , public wharf and your final destination the Ballina RSL.

For the more adventurous hiker, cyclist or jogger there is a bush track also at  your doorstep.
